Is your tap water contaminated?

The Roaming Parkers frown on disposable plastic water bottles in a big way!  It’s one of our pet projects.  That’s why we love Nalgene so much is because all those disposable water bottles end up in landfills or in the ocean!  Some estimates are as high as 60 million plastic bottles thrown away PER DAY in the U.S. alone!

So, why don’t you do your part and buy a Nalgene Bottle and fill it from the tap, for cryin’ out loud!

But if you do decide to buy a Nalgene and drink tapwater here’s something you should check out first –

This is a really cool website from the Environmental Working Group where you can see what contaminants have been found in your local water system.  Just link over there and type in your zip code and it’ll show you the nearby water systems that they have records for!
